Using fruit acids to exfoliate your skin will give you soft, smooth skin and a brighter complexion. You’ll also benefit from the effect of the fruit on your skin’s natural water balance.

Your skin needs moisture, whether you have oily, normal, or dry skin. When you exfoliate your skin mechanically, it’s possible to remove moisture with the oil from the skin.

However, using fruit acids helps skin keep the moisture it needs, ensuring that the moisture isn’t stripped away when you remove dead skin cells and oils.

Benefits of Ingredients

? Apple cider vinegar is a natural ingredient that is used for many things, just like coconut oil. It’s not surprising that it’s extremely beneficial for your skin as well. Acetic acid is the main ingredient found in apple cider vinegar, and it contains malic acids, citric acids, and lactic acids too.

? These acids work together to exfoliate skin gently, dissolving and sloughing away the dead skin cells.

When you apply apple cider vinegar to your skin, you’ll also benefit from mineral salts, amino acids, and beneficial vitamins. You can make a DIY, natural skin peel with delicious fruit – apples.

? When you combine apples with apple cider vinegar, you’ll increase the dose of natural, gentle acids that help eliminate those dead skin cells.

Apples naturally contain malic acid, which helps to detoxify your body, boosts immunity and helps improve the overall health of your skin.

? When you use apples in a facial peel, it is especially wonderful at evening out your complexion, particularly if you have sun damage or age spots on your face.

This mask doesn’t keep well so it’s best to make only enough for one application.

You’ll Need:

  • 1 teaspoon organic, raw, unfiltered apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon applesauce, preferably organic or simply grate 1 small slice of apple (enough for single use)
  • few drops of lemon (optional) – if you are treating pigmentation or sun spots

Directions:

? Cleanse your face, removing all makeup. Next, combine the applesauce and apple cider vinegar, stirring well until it’s mixed.

? With a brush or clean hands, carefully apply the apple mixture to the face, keeping it away from the sensitive eye area.

? Allow the mask to sit on skin for 10-15 minutes. Use cool water and a soft cloth to rinse away the mask. It’s best to use the mask before taking a shower or at night, since the smell of the vinegar may linger.

      @Sujuta,
You just throw one apple in the blender (make sure to peel off the skin) or food processor and it’s already an apple sauce.
