Stretch marks can appear in parts of our body that has large amounts of fats that are stored and the common places are the abdomen, breasts, upper arms, underarms, thighs, hips and buttocks.

Here are some treatments that were used by different people of getting rid of these unwanted marks:

  • Use of olive oil. Lather it on the skin while still damp after taking a shower. It helps moistened the skin and it is less expensive.
  • Use of Clarins tonic. It was highly advisable for pregnant women because it was formulated particularly for them.
  • Taking Vitamin E daily and lots of water help keep stretch mark away.
  • Chemical peels, but it requires high tolerance to pain caused by the stinging sensation that comes with it. Normally, it needs more than one session but there’s also a risk of additional scarring from the chemicals used, depending on the reaction of your skin.
  • Laser surgery is very pricey and it needs five to six sessions to see the good result. It helps stimulate skin growth and improvement continues up to six months after laser treatment.
  • Stretch mark cream and ointment. Better find a good product that can really make the stretch marks disappear but it surely costs a lot.

  • Still prevention is better than cure. Keep your skin healthy and watch your diet to prevent unwanted stretch marks.
