Eventually, most women will develop some age or brown spots regardless of skin color or ethnic background. The main culprit of getting these spots that appear on exposed areas like chest, hands, shoulders, face, and neck is the sun exposure.
Staying outdoor without wearing skin protection cause an increase in the production of cells known as melanocytes that increase melanin in the skin, which turns the skin darker when our skin is exposed to the sun.
I know I am guilty of not using proper skin protection from the sun..ok, I tanned every day of my 20s and 30s!!! So now I need to know what to do about age spots.
I’ve been experimenting a lot of DIY as I was so obsessed with fading my dark spots and blemishes.
For sure, lots of you are complaining about age spots, dark spots, freckles or even post-acne marks.
Would it be great if we could naturally get rid of these stubborn spots/pigmentation that refuse to fade away without chance procedures?
Going natural is the best for me, and I can swear with the result over time.
Of course, tons of good emulsions remove these spots, but they are exceedingly exorbitant.
However, we can effortlessly create them at home without draining our wallet.
So, it is never too late to begin working on attaining even-toned, unblemished skin at home.
- 1 tbsp whole milk (or you can use buttermilk)
- 1 tbsp hydrogen peroxide (3% solution)
① Put the ingredients in a clean container. The hydrogen peroxide will make the milk “foamy”.
② Mix them well. Use a cotton ball or a q-tip to apply the mixture only in those areas that needs some TLC avoiding the eye and lip area.
③ Let it sit for 15 minutes and repeat the process (if you have time).
③ This recipe can be applied to stubborn spots on daily basis, after a few months, you’ll notice a huge difference.
