Eventually, most women will develop some age or brown spots regardless of skin color or ethnic background. The main culprit of getting these spots that appear on exposed areas like chest, hands, shoulders, face, and neck is the sun exposure.
Staying outdoor without wearing skin protection cause an increase in the production of cells known as melanocytes that increase melanin in the skin, which turns the skin darker when our skin is exposed to the sun.
I know I am guilty of not using proper skin protection from the sun..ok, I tanned every day of my 20s and 30s!!! So now I need to know what to do about age spots.
I’ve been experimenting a lot of DIY as I was so obsessed with fading my dark spots and blemishes.
For sure, lots of you are complaining about age spots, dark spots, freckles or even post-acne marks.
Would it be great if we could naturally get rid of these stubborn spots/pigmentation that refuse to fade away without chance procedures?
Going natural is the best for me, and I can swear with the result over time.
Of course, tons of good emulsions remove these spots, but they are exceedingly exorbitant.
However, we can effortlessly create them at home without draining our wallet.
So, it is never too late to begin working on attaining even-toned, unblemished skin at home.
You’ll Need:
- 1 tbsp whole milk (or you can use buttermilk)
- 1 tbsp hydrogen peroxide (3% solution)
Directions:
① Put the ingredients in a clean container. The hydrogen peroxide will make the milk “foamy”.
② Mix them well. Use a cotton ball or a q-tip to apply the mixture only in those areas that needs some TLC avoiding the eye and lip area.
③ Let it sit for 15 minutes and repeat the process (if you have time).
③ This recipe can be applied to stubborn spots on daily basis, after a few months, you’ll notice a huge difference.
Im having blemishes on my cheek what can i use
can i use ths solution in bikni area???
hi Aditi,
This is not intended for bikini area. You can actually rub lemon wedge on the affected area regularly. This will help lighten the dark area of your skin.
I have very sensitive skin.can I use that mixture.I have dark blemishes .plzzzzzzz reply And plz tell any substitute of hydrogen peroxide….
hi Reet,
The hydrogen peroxide is being diluted with milk to make it less intense. You can try this routine by doing the (24 hour) skin patch like in your neck or wrist firsthand to evaluate how your skin reacts.
Or you can use lemon juice instead of hydrogen peroxide but make sure to dilute the juice with milk or water before applying on your skin.
Hi there. Just came back from a holiday and I’m extremely tanned. Any tips on how to remove the tan quickly pls? Thanks.
@Sheetal,
Just keep on applying lemon on your skin (but make sure your skin is not sensitive) morning and night. Let it sit for 15-20 minutes and rinse it off. Also, dont forget to wear sunscreen (with SPF30+) to protect your skin when staying outdoors. Re-apply if needed.
Will this help the dark under eyecircles? Or should I just stick to the tumeric mask?
This tips is safe in pregnancy. I mean hydrogen peroxide.
h2o2 is chemical.i am allergic to chemicals,is there a natural substitute.most medicines,ointments and sunscreens have chemicals which are to be used with a pinch of salt.natural is the only way.

Can this mixture be use on the legs?
@Nancy,
The skin on the legs is different from our face. But you can try exfoliating the affected area of your legs and apply/rub lemon wedge every day. Soon, you will see improvements.
Blemishes reappear
Hasn’t hydrogen per oxide bleaching effect on skin?
Is the use ok in the long run.?
