If you’re looking for a great mask, I recently found one that provides incredible results. It helps stimulate circulation and exfoliates skin, leaving skin rosy and glowing.

You’ll want to try it yourself. With green papaya, yogurt and honey, you have all the ingredients for a mask that works.

how to get rid of dark spots

Here’s why it works:

Well, it’s the green papaya in the mask that provides all the great results. Green papaya is unripe, and it contains alpha hydroxy acids naturally, which helps to dissolve away dead skin cells. Alpha hydroxyl acids (AHAs) are excellent for skin because they also help to lighten pigmentation.

These make them great for fading acne scars or sun spots. AHAs also contribute to reducing the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines. They help heal sun damage and exfoliate skin, cleansing deeply and cleaning out dead skin.

Green papaya also includes Papain, a natural enzyme that offers many benefits. It also aids in exfoliation, helping to reveal, new, beautiful skin.

It is also an essential ingredient for lightening skin and providing smoother, brighter skin. Include a bit of yogurt with the green papaya, and you’ll get significant lactic acid.

Lactic acid is another AHA, and it offers many benefits as well. With a bit of honey for antibacterial properties and deep moisturizing, you have great ingredients for a fantastic mask that will provide you with many skin benefits.

You’ll Need:

  • 1 unripe papaya, diced
  • 1 teaspoon plain yogurt (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon honey (optional)

Even if you happen to have sensitive skin, this mask is safe for you. However, individuals who are allergic to latex may have problems with this mask.

The papaya includes chitinase, a natural compound that may result in an allergic reaction for people who also have latex allergies.

Frequency

This green papaya skin brightening mask exfoliates skin wonderfully, which means it should not be used daily. It’s best to use it 2-3 times a week. For the best results, use it at night a couple of times a week.

Leave the mask on for about 15-30 minutes. It will give skin a tingly feeling, which means that the mask is working on your skin. Once you rinse the mask away, you’ll enjoy beautiful, glowing skin.

How to Make the Mask:

  • Cut the green unripe papaya into two along the center
  • Scoop out all the seeds
  • Peel the green skin of the papaya
  • Dice the peeled papaya into moderately sized chunks
  • Put the diced papaya with a little water into a blender
  • Blend and add some water as needed to make a fine paste.

The great thing about this mixture is that you can freeze it into cubes, and thaw it every time you want to use it!

Directions:

  • Start off with a fresh cleanly washed face
  • Apply the mask either all over the face to brighten your facial skin
  • or you apply it directly over dark spots or blackheads on the face to improve their appearance and to gradually fade it out

  • Rinse your face with warm water after leaving it on for about 30 mins
  • Place the leftover in an ice tray and store in the freezer for future use.

      @Nupur,
If the mixture leaves you a rough throat, try adding raw honey in the mixture and see how it goes. And also, go easy when adding lemon.
