Benefits of Flaxseed
Flaxseed flour is not available? You can purchase whole Flaxseed and ground them up in a coffee grinder (or food processor) and store them in an airtight container to last for several months. Refrigerating whole seeds may extend their freshness.
Note: Avoid grinding more than you need for the current serving since Flaxseed can easily become rancid. Use them within 24 hours after grinding to avoid losing its potency. Prepare the flaxseed fresh each morning.

Kefir Chia Seed Pudding
As a Pudding: Mix 2 tbsp chia seeds with 3/4 cup of plain kefir (I love the goat milk kefir) and let it sit for 30 minutes in the fridge (or leave it overnight).
This process makes the chia seeds swell and will result in light, tapioca-like pudding that can be eaten plain or mixed with fruit or nuts.
Once you’re ready to eat (preferably breakfast), you can add 2 tbsp ground flax seeds and to inject more flavors, add your favorite fruits – I like adding cantaloupe or blackberries (this makes the mixture more enjoyable to eat).
I feel full just eating this mix, and you don’t feel the craving for anything.
