Keep in mind that prevention is the cure to avoid common issues like ingrown hairs and nicks while shaving your pubic hair.

How to Shave Pubic Hair

.) Invest in a good shaving cream – remember you are dealing with the most sensitive part of your body therefore using a good shaving cream or gel could help you get a smooth, moisturized skin and prevent ingrown hairs.

.) Don’t pinch on buying a razor – Refrain from buying cheap disposable razor or it can gives you nicks and cuts instead purchase a razor that swivel with multiple blades Schick Quattro for Women to smooth out your skin.

.) Trim it down first – Trimming Pubic Hair before shaving makes easier for you to shave. Use a flat comb and trim with sharp scissor or clipper, the shortest the hair, less razor you will be using.

.) Take a warm bath of shower – Taking a hot bath or shower at least 10 minutes can soften your skin and relax the follicle, therefore, it is easier to glide the razor.

.) Exfoliate your Skin – Exfoliating your skin by using mild body wash can help you get rid of the dead skin. Use a wash cloth and rub it gently in your private area.

.) Use Shaving Oil – Applying a shaving oil can create a barrier on your skin that makes the razor to glide smoothly. It can also avoid razor burn, ingrown hairs and irritation

.) Dab Shaving gel or cream – Applying shaving cream or gel while your skin is damp is good while shaving. However, you can use a shaving brush and brush it in circular motion to lift the pubic hair and get a closer shave.

.) Shaving Pubic Hair – Always use a clean or fresh blade and follow the same direction of hair growth while shaving and glide the razor in opposite direction while holding the skin tight. Don’t shave on the same area for how many times

.) Rinsing – Every other strokes, make sure to rinse the blade to avoid clogged razor as it will not work well.

.) Cleanse – After shaving pubic hair, rinse the area and pat dry.

.) Moisturize – This is very important after shaving pubic hair, always make a point that you apply moisturizer after shaving preferably the unscented one.

.) Fighting the Redness – To prevent from getting redness, bumps and ingrown, you can apply Ingrown hair serum to your pubic area to keep the moisture.
