Rosehip Seed Oil – One Secret Ingredient that Can Give You a Supermodel Complexion

Learn Why This Miracle Skincare Product Will Be The Next Coconut Oil

I find it surprising how so many great products are not used at all or are falling out of grace for no obvious reason. Let me help you understand my point by providing you with an excellent example, namely the Rosehip Seed Oil.

Rosehip-Seed-Oil

It has been used for hundreds of years by cultures from all over the world, so let’s just say that this is no coincidence and this oil is worth a closer look.

Perhaps you’ve heard about its beneficial effects from magazines and celebrity interviews, like the ones from the former Victoria’s Secret Angel Miranda Kerr where she name-dropped the Rosehip Seed Oil as one of the secret to her radiant complexion, which prompted me to further explore the beauty benefits of this oil.

Personally, I’m so fed up with what mainstream media tells us to buy that, I don’t even pay attention to most of this market noise, but the Rosehip Seed Oil is the exception.

I’ve used it myself for quite a while now and I am yet to find any side effects or downside for using the oil, while the benefits are so numerous that one article doesn’t do it justice.

If you love coconut oil, then you will surely be thrilled with the Rosehip seed oil and enjoy long-lasting effect if you have a sensitive skin. It is full of vitamins, antioxidants and essential fatty acids that are known to correct dark spots and hydrate dry, itchy skin, all while reducing scars and fine lines.

What To Do:
① Apply the oil to your damp skin and gently massage 3 – 4 drops of rosehip seed oil to your face and another 3 drops of oil into your neck.

② You don’t need to wash it off, just leave it overnight.

③ You can apply your favorite moisturizer if you have dry or combination skin but if you have oily skin like me, you can skip the moisturizing part.

The Result:
This makes my skin glow while helping reduce the appearance of my post acne scars. This is also great for acne-prone skin.

It can be used for your hands, face and body and its combined healing and beautifying properties will get you hooked on the oil sooner or later.

Forget about nuisances such as grease, because this oil can be applied all over your skin without spoiling your elegant outfits.

Though it’s a bit more expensive, cold-pressed is best as it hasn’t been altered by heat and retains more nutrients. I bought mine from Amazon, far cheaper than the more well-known face oils.

Why Rosehip Seed Oil?

  • It is the most potent anti-aging oil
  • High in Vitamin C and Omega 3+6 Fatty Acids – With skin rejuvenating properties like vitamin C and lycopene, rosehip seed oil is a safer solution to repair the skin’s surface, restore elasticity and protects against sun and pollution stressors that can lead to wrinkles.
  • Heals scarring
  • contains Retinoic Acid (Vitamin A) – which studies show reduces the appearance of wrinkles and brightens skin.
  • Brightens the skin

It’s Non-Greasy and Super Light
Rosehip is a dry oil, so it penetrates to the deepest layers of the skin where it regenerates skin cells, producing more collagen and elastin.

Unlike heavier oils that are commonly used on the face like jojoba and shea butter, rosehip seed oil absorbs easily.

Beauty experts recommend using it as an addition to lotions and creams, as it’s anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant, which helps to decrease environmental damage and soothe the skin.

It’s a Natural Acne and Eczema Treatment
The essential fatty acids found in rosehip seed oil also work wonders for dry scalp and itchiness due to stress and chemicals in shampoo. It’s what the skin needs for hydration and skin sensitivities.

Rosehip is perfect for all ages and skin types, including those with sensitive skin conditions like rosacea and acne.

So: Does this convince you to try Rosehip Seed Oil? Or are you already a fan?

      Hi Sonam,
      It’s better to use the cold pressed oil since it yields better results but if you can’t find it, you can use the regular rosehip oil.

      @Vani,
      Cold pressed means, didn’t go through the heating process which strip the nutrients of the oils .

      @Pramila,
      If you have a rosehip oil, you don’t need the vitamin E oil then. I use the rosehip oil as my night time moisturizer.. my skin loves it.
      Mixing vitamin E oil will depends on how would you use it.
