Try These Overnight Beauty Treatments to Look Gorgeous in the Morning

I love using overnight beauty treatments. I slather them on before I head to bed, and when I wake up, I look amazing. That’s awesome! If you have never tried overnight beauty treatments, it’s time to try one out.

If you’re like me, you love beauty treatments that require little effort. While you have many great options, I’ve put together a list of some of the best, easiest treatments.

Try these overnight beauty treatments out, and you’re sure to love how gorgeous you look the next day.

① Baking Soda Beauty Treatment
Do you have a cheap box of baking soda in the kitchen? If so, you have a cheap, easy way to whiten your teeth while you’re in bed.

Brush your teeth like normal, and then make your paste of baking soda and water.

Brush with the baking soda paste and rinse it off with water before heading to bed.

Do this every night, and you’ll score whiter, brighter teeth after a few weeks. It’s important to do this right before you head to bed, so you aren’t tempted to drink or eat anything before you wake up.

This way the baking soda has plenty of time to work on your teeth.

② Vitamin A Overnight Cream
Choose an over the counter face cream that has vitamin A in it. This is a great way to treat those wrinkles and fine lines. The best part is that it works on your wrinkles while you are asleep.

If you have deep wrinkles, you may need something a bit stronger. Find a high-quality cream with Vitamin A and try it out. You’ll love how your face looks in the morning.

For OTC vitamin A cream, look for products formulated with at least 0.1% of retinol (the most effective retinoid in OTC versions) and packed in aluminum tubes (air and light can degrade the formula, reducing effectiveness).

③ Castor Oil Eyelash Treatment
If you want longer, thicker eyelashes, slather on a bit of castor oil before you head to bed at night. It only takes a minute to apply the castor oil, and you’ll love the results.

Of course, you want to avoid putting too much oil on the lashes, because you don’t want to get it in the eyes. However, add enough castor oil so you can feel it on the lashes.

④ Humidifier for Hydrated Hair and Skin
You don’t even need any special products for this beauty treatment. When you go to bed, turn on your humidifier.

It helps add moisture to the air in your home, which contributes to preventing hair and skin from drying out. Hair and skin look more beautiful when it stays moisturized, so this is a super easy trick that you can use.

⑤ Petroleum Jelly Beauty Treatment
Petroleum jelly offers many great beauty benefits, but it’s especially effective at treating the dry, cracked skin that occurs on your feet and heels.

Slather your feet with some petroleum jelly and then put on a pair of socks. Leave the socks on while you sleep.

This gives the petroleum jelly a chance to soak in, softening and moisturizing the skin on your feet.

When you take off the socks in the morning, your feet will be soft and hydrated, which means they’ll look better with your favorite pair of sky-high sandals.

⑥ Mineral Powder for Irritation
If you deal with skin irritation or redness, mineral powder can come to the rescue. Before you go to sleep, dust a fine layer of the mineral powder on skin.

It soothes skin, reducing redness and inflammation. You don’t have to worry about the mineral powder clogging your pores.

⑦ Hair Mask
To enjoy beautiful, shiny hair in the morning, take a shower at night and apply a hair mask to your hair.

Leave it overnight and rinse the next morning. You’ll wake up the next day with shiny, full hair that looks amazing. A hair mask is an excellent way to combat dryness and damage.

    My bedtime moisturizer is my own DIY of rosehip seed oil & helichrysum essential oil. Do I apply the retinol over or under my DIY moisturizer? Thank you, Calleigh.

      @Lorna,
      Start with the thinnest item and end with the thickest ones. After you’ve washed your face, apply the toner, then begin building up in this order.
      1.) serum (antioxidant )- retinol serum
      2.) eye cream
      3.) moisturizer

      @Ayesha,
      If being used for exfoliation, you can use either baking powder or baking soda. But of course, for cooking purpose, each serves differently.
