Here are Five of my Favorite Vitamin Cures for Fantastic Skin:
Cure #1. Vitamin C: Exfoliator.
Vitamin C offers more than just a boost to the immune system. It also makes a great exfoliator for your skin.
What To Do:
To use vitamin C powder (ascorbic acid) for exfoliation, simply mix together a bit of almond milk and a couple teaspoons of vitamin C powder. You’ll want to add enough of the almond milk to make a paste that you can apply to skin. Use a brush or fingers to massage the vitamin C mixture on your face.
Leave it on skin until it makes skin start to tingle. Then, rinse away the exfoliator and dab a bit of rosewater on skin. Start using this exfoliator a few times a week and you’ll notice a huge improvement in your skin’s texture. However, never use this exfoliating mask on skin that is injured.
Cure #2. Vitamin E: Anti-Wrinkle Treatment.
Whether you already have a few wrinkles or you want to prevent them, vitamin E is the perfect vitamin cure. No one likes looking in the mirror and noticing the signs of aging. However, vitamin E can make a huge difference. For this vitamin cure you’ll simply need some vitamin E capsules.
What To Do:
To treat wrinkles and fine lines, take a vitamin E capsule and squeeze out the capsule’s contents, spreading it on the affected area of your face. Just make sure you cleanse before doing this. Do this at night before bedtime and you’ll be amazed at the difference you notice when you wake up in the morning.
Cure #3. Omega-3 fatty acids: Face Mask.
Healthy fats are important for healthy skin. Omega-3 fatty acids offer your body many health benefits, but they provide some wonderful benefits to skin too. Getting enough of these fatty acids will help to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines and it will also help to reduce inflammation. Work to get more Omega 3s in your diet, but you can also use these fatty acids externally.
What To Do:
To use externally, mix together a bit of flaxseed oil, some chai seeds that have been finely ground and some all-natural, organic yogurt. Stir the mixture together and use as a face mask. Allow to stay on skin for about 15 ~ 20 minutes and then gently rinse it away. It will rejuvenate and moisturize skin, giving you healthy, glowing skin. If you do this before you go to bed at night, you’ll still feel the moisturizing and rejuvenating effects the next day.
Cure #4. Zinc to Moisturize Your Skin.
Is your skin dry? If so, zinc may help. Even if you have acne prone skin, zinc can moisturize skin without making acne worse. Zinc is wonderful for skin. It helps to soothe skin, it helps increase cell turnover and renewal and it even helps to treat acne.
What To Do:
You don’t have to look for a supplement. Instead, try adding more zinc to your diet. Great sources of zinc include shrimp, salmon, garlic, dark chocolate, chickpeas and pumpkin seeds.
Cure #5. B Vitamins: Overall Skin Health.
If you want to improve the overall health of skin, you’ll want to consider increasing your intake of B vitamins. B vitamins are wonderful for skin, but many people don’t get enough B vitamins. Since these vitamins are water soluble, the body washes them away if your body doesn’t use them quickly. This means that B vitamins must be daily replaced.
What To Do:
Some good foods to eat for more B vitamins include lamb, mussels, beef, crab and clams. You could always take a (preferably organic) supplement that includes B vitamins to enjoy all the benefits these vitamins offer your skin. I’ve been using vitamin cures for a couple of years now, and I can tell you one thing: even if most of them are really inexpensive, their effect is priceless!
You don’t have to spend a lot of money to enjoy amazing skin. These vitamin cures are inexpensive and they offer great results, so consider trying them for fantastic skin.
