I like giving my metabolism a kick-start each day, and I do it by making my fat-melting hot cayenne pepper and lemon water. I only heat up some water on the stove, add my key ingredients and enjoy a warm drink. Not only does it get my digestive system going in the morning, but it also helps to cleanse my body of toxins.
When you wake up each morning, your body is dehydrated. After all, you have not had anything to drink or eat throughout the night. So, instead of grabbing tea or coffee, hitting some warm cayenne pepper and lemon water is great for your body. It helps hydrate your body, unlike coffee or tea.
Since I’ve been drinking this warm drink each morning, I’ve also started losing a few pounds. I’m already exercising and eating right, but with this drink, my metabolism is getting a significant boost, which is improving my weight loss results.

The water also helps to flush away toxins, which is an important part of weight loss.
What you will need:
- 1-2 tbsp ACV (apple cider vinegar)
- a dash of cayenne or ground chili pepper (You can find this in the spice aisle of your grocery store)
- Lemon juice and lemon zest (use 1 lemon)
- Straw- I drink this with a straw so that I keep a lot of the acid of the lemon juice away from my teeth.
You probably have these ingredients in your home already, and even if you do not, you can easily find the ingredients for a low price. Once you have the ingredients, it is easy to make this fat melting drink each day.
① Peel the lemon, and cover the lemon peel with 8 oz (one glass ) of hot water (let it seep for 10 minutes).
② Juice your lemon and pour the lemon juice into the water and add the apple cider or ACV. Sprinkle just a small amount of cayenne pepper onto the top of the water.
③ You want just enough to cover the top of the glass with a very thin layer. Stir well before every sip, and consume this drink using a straw.
After that, I drink about half a glass of plain water to wash everything down and clean out the acidity from my mouth.
Wait about 20 minutes before eating anything.
