When it comes to tailoring I accept my limitations and confess that I couldn’t make a cardigan to save my life, so I was awestruck when a friend of similar skills told me about the loft inspired ruffle front cardigan she made. I have to admit that I was thrilled by the idea that it is even possible to create something like that by yourself, and I was anxious to see how exactly she did it. You don’t even need an expensive cardigan to start with, and as long as you have a fabric matching its color, you should be just fine.
It takes a little time to create the ruffles, but it is well worth it because it is entirely up to you how much volume these will have. Most products that you can pick up from a shelf are not going to meet your expectations, and if you are passionate about fluffy ruffles you will waste a lot of time. Add to these the high costs of these outfits and it becomes apparent that if you can master the art of crafting the cardigans yourself, not even the most generous discounts with appeal to you any longer.
There is more than one way to do it, but the most important thing is to pick the right cloth in terms of both fabric and length, so that you won’t have to stop in the middle of the process and start all over again. It can be a little time-consuming to create your first ruffle front cardigan, but this doesn’t have to be a one time thing so regard it as an investment.
