Faster and Thicker Hair Growth Using Secrets from India

If you have ever noticed the thick, lush hair of women from India and wondered whether you could achieve the same, the answer is easy. Genetics plays the part of the role in these thick locks, but using an oil treatment inspired by a three oil blend that’s popular in India can also improve your hair growth and thickness.

Why Does it Works:

① Clove and Eucalyptus oil
The blend is quite easy to make, with the primary ingredients increasing the blood flow to the hair roots, nourishing the hair and encouraging it to grow faster and also aiding in reducing hair loss.

These two oils are clove and eucalyptus oil. The third oil used is coconut oil, which acts as a carrier oil but also has other properties. As a carrier oil, it dilutes the oil and allows it to cover more area.

In this case, both the clove and eucalyptus oil could create a burning feeling if not diluted. In this case, use equal amounts of clove and eucalyptus and then 15 times the combined amount of coconut oil.

Even though it is a carrier oil, coconut oil is also excellent for the hair. It can penetrate the shaft of the hair and replace lost natural oils that can occur when there’s heat damage or oils lost in washing or to environmental toxins.

② Coconut Oil
Coconut oil has been used as a single treatment for hair for thousands of years. It has anti-microbial, and fatty acids in coconut oil can help eliminate or prevent dandruff. It also helps retain moisture.

The vitamin E content is beneficial to your scalp in maintaining good health. The lauric acid protects the hair since it has a high affinity for the protein in the hair and can penetrate the hair shaft.

Coconut oil also contains capric acid; that works with the lauric acid to aid in preventing hair loss. Coconut oil can also help fight hair loss and graying when combined with Eclipta Alba juice—Bhringraj—another herb that grows in India.

What you need:

  • 2 tsp eucalyptus oil (you can buy it here )
  • 2 tsp clove oil (check the recipe below on how to make your own clove oil)
  • 10 tablespoons (liquefied) virgin coconut oil

Directions:
1. Mix all the ingredients and store in a glass bottle / container.

2. Gently massage the oils into your scalp and let it sit for 30 minutes or you can leave it overnight. Do this routine 2-3 times a week for best results.

How to Make Homemade Clove Oil:
how-to-1
① Grab some whole cloves at your local grocery store (you’ll need 2 tbsp of cloves) and 1/2 cup basic olive oil.

② Place the whole cloves in a pestle and mortar or you can use a plastic zip lock bag and pound them with rolling pin. Once the cloves are grounded, you can place them in a 1-foot square of cheesecloth, then tie up with a string to secure them for steeping process.

③ Add the olive oil to the glass jar and submerge the cloves. You can cover the glass container with aluminum foil to help it steep while in the double boiler.

④ To make a double boiler, fill a small saucepan halfway with water and then place a metal or glass bowl over the top. Place the jar in the bowl and let sit over the simmering water for at least an hour.

⑤ Let it cool before using. Seal the lid of the container and store it in a cool, dark place for later use. Leaving the cloves in the oil increases its strength.
