How to Lighten your Skin Naturally: for Dark Spots, Uneven Skin Tones, Dark circles + Dark Lips

Have you noticed some unevenness in your skin lately? Age spots, darkened areas, acne scars, pregnancy masks, and other types of skin discoloration can make you feel older than you are, and may encourage you to reach for harsh lightening products like hydroquinone or even get you thinking about cosmetic surgery.

Such drastic measures aren’t necessary, however, as Mother Nature has given us plenty of solutions that work with the skin, rather than against it.

As an answer to the need for more beautiful, lighter skin, commercialized beauty products were released in the market. These contain synthetic ingredients that might harm your skin. If you want an all-natural route to a lighter skin tone, it is best to stick to ingredients that can be found in your pantry.

Why These Ingredients
Ground-up Almond – This is a perfect exfoliant for the skin. Almonds are known to have fatty acids that make your skin healthy and supple. They are rich in strong anti-oxidants such as Vitamin E. Almonds have always been known to lighten skin over a period of use.

It gradually eliminates dark circle around the eyes, pigmented lips, dark spots, and uneven skin tone. Of course, you should not use this ingredient if you have an allergic reaction to nuts. **If you are allergic to nuts, then, of course, this mask isn’t for you**

Almond Oil – Very moisturizing. Almond is a moisture-rich oil that is noncomedogenic (It doesn’t cause breakouts because it doesn’t block your pores). It helps remove your pre-mature wrinkles and slow aging. It also helps keep your skin supple and hydrated.

Turmeric – Lightens dark spots. It may have that distinct golden yellow color, but turmeric can help treat acne, heal wounds, lighten scars, remove wrinkles, and lighten dark spots.

It is loaded with antioxidants that even prevent the recurrence of inflamed acne. It is best not to use too much of this spice because this stains the skin.

Goat Milk Yogurt – Goat Milk has very tiny proteins that can be easily absorbed by the skin, which help increase hydration and give you supple skin. It is also rich in lactic acid that effectively exfoliates your skin to reveal a glowing, young-looking skin. This milk can easily make you say goodbye to dry, flaky skin forever. Apply some goat milk yogurt onto your face, and you’ll notice a HUGE difference.

Please remember that this is a NATURAL remedy with NO CHEMICALS so, in order for it to work, you need to stay consistent with it. Use it 2 or 3 times a week, and you’ll see results.

You’ll Need:

  • 2 tbsp finely ground almond
  • 2 tbsp plain whole fat yogurt (or goat milk yogurt is the best if available)
  • a pinch of turmeric
  • 2 tsp almond oil

① Just mix all of the given ingredients together with equal portions of each one.

② Once you have blended them into a rich paste, place it in a clean container that has a cover. Take note that this preparation has no preservatives of chemicals, so you have to keep the mixture in the fridge and use up the leftover within a week.

③ You should make sure that you cleanse your skin thoroughly first before applying the mask.

④ After application, allow it to completely dry and then wash it off with warm water. You can apply your regular moisturizer after you washed off the mask.

And YES, of course, leftovers can be stored in the fridge. It’s better to make it AS you need it though since the mask isn’t too hard to make.

This remedy for problem skin can help people suffering from psoriasis and eczema as well. Try this out; you’ll love it!

A Better, Gentler Way
I believe that skin responds best when we treat it well. If we’re too harsh with acids or disrupt its natural processes with chemicals like hydroquinone, we’re likely to see it reacting in ways that don’t make us happy!

The skin may be lighter, but it may also be thinner, duller, and less able to hold its shape. Regular treatment with ingredients that work with the skin, on the other hand, are more likely to help lighten dark spots and help skin to become as healthy as it can be.

Beautiful skin is a goal for most people. It doesn’t have to be perfect, blemish-free skin. It just has to be clear, smooth, soft, lighter, and even toned. When you achieve this, your esteem will be higher, and you can face the world with a much more positive attitude.

      @Laila,
Try this routine 2 or 3x a day and make sure to apply sunscreen if you spend time outdoors. Also, try exfoliating your skin twice a week as well, this will help your skin glow as well.
