I personally think that Freckles look cute, but I know a lot of people who don’t like them. Freckles are known for effecting mostly the facial skin, arms and shoulder area. Both men & women are always contemplating ways to get rid of those freckles or blemishes.

Below, I am going to tell you about some solutions that may work for you. Take note that each one of these solutions has worked on someone I know.

FRECKLES---how-to-get-rid-1
I do not know if they will work as effectively on your skin as everyone is different, but they are well worth the try…

① LEMON

You can fade freckles by rubbing Lemon on your skin or by applying Lemon Juice using a cotton ball. Lemon has a natural acidic power to lighten skin. Never do this if your skin is sensitive or if you are allergic to citrus fruits.

② RED ONION
onion-1
Another way is by rubbing Onion on your skin. This is one of the best home remedies that will help you to get rid of freckles fast. You can use any variety of onion for this purpose, but it is advisable to use red onions for better results.

Slice the onion into thick pieces and rub a slice gently on your freckled skin region twice daily. You can also grate the onion to extract the juice and apply the juice to the affected skin twice every day. Add one teaspoonful of vinegar to the onion juice before using it for better results. Repeat this process for a couple of weeks to get positive results.

③ CUCUMBER
cuke-1
Grate some Cucumber, squeeze it to extract the juice and apply it to your skin. Works best if you mix 1 tbsp of Honey and 1 tbsp of Lemon. You can also blend some cucumber cubes with fresh cream to make an anti-freckle mask.

④ PARSLEY
parsley-1
Natural Parsley Juice mixed with equal amount of Lemon Juice and Orange Juice will help fade freckles. Dip the cotton pad in the mixture and put the soaked cotton pad in the affected ar

⑤ PAPAYA
papaya-1
Papaya contains an enzyme named papain which is beneficial for removing dark marks and freckles. Make some fresh papaya juice and apply it on the affected skin area using clean cotton to gently massage it on the skin. Leave it on for 10 minutes and then wash your skin with cold water. You should use papaya juice every day for reducing freckles as well as for making the skin soft and healthier.

⑥ VITAMIN E OIL

Applying Vitamin E Oil also helps fade freckles, its the gentlest way to fade freckles , takes a little time but it won’t dry your face.

How Long should I Keep These Masks on For?
You can keep these masks on for about fifteen minutes.

How Long Does It Take To See the Result?
It depends on how dark your freckles are, if they are light, you will be able to see the result in less than 2 weeks, but if they are dark, it might take almost a month.

Should I use Sunscreen if I am using these recipes?
You should use sunscreen 365 days a year, it doesn’t matter whether you are using these recipes or not, it’s just that some ingredients might make your skin photosensitive so you should be extra careful. Sunscreen protects your skin from harsh UV rays, and these rays are present all year around.

Can I use Bottled or Canned Lemon Juice?
You should always use the freshly squeezed lemon juice for this recipe. Bottled and canned juice have preservatives, artificial colorants and synthetic fragrance which can do more harm than good.

How long should I use these recipes for?
You can use it everyday or every alternate day for the first fifteen days and reduce it to twice a week after that.

What if I don’t see any result?
The Same recipe can do wonders for some and do nothing for some, it’s because we all have different types of skin and our skin needs a different type of treatments. So if one recipe is not working try the other one, keep trying until you find something that works. These are all natural ingredients so there’s no harm in experimenting.

What is the best time to use these recipes?
You can use these recipes in the evening or night because some recipes make your skin photosensitive so you should not go out in the sun immediately after using those recipes.

Which One Is the Best Recipe?
There’s nothing called the best recipe, one recipe can work wonders on some whereas the same recipe might irritate some people’s skin, so you have to try and see which one works for you. If you have sensitive skin, try and avoid the lemon.

Do I need to Wash These Masks?
Yes, you should only keep these masks on for about 15-20 minutes and rinse off after that.

What Kind Of Honey Should I use?
You can use Raw Local Honey or Manuka Honey, if nothing is available you can use your plain regular Honey.
