- 400 grams (0.88 lbs of celery – 1 stalk of celery is approx. 40 grams)
- 1 kg (2.2 lbs of lemons : 1 lb is approximately 4 lemons)
- 2 liters (33.8 oz of water)
① Cut the celery. Put them in a large pot and pour the water over it.
② Add the zest of 1 lemon. Heat the liquid and allow it to simmer for 20 minutes over low heat. Take the bowl off the source of heat and allow the drink to cool down for 6 hours.
③ Extract the juice from the entire lemons (2.2 lbs of lemons is equivalent to approximately 8 lemons) and add it to the celery water you just made.
④ Strain the liquid and store in a glass bottle. Keep the bottle in your fridge and drink one glass of the mixture before each meal (3x a day).
⑤ Try to warm (not hot) the mixture up before you drink, as it is better to drink water liquid before meal particularly the breakfast.
