How to Drop Dress Size in 20 Minutes

Time appears to be always of the essence, and when we want things, we often want them right now, which is of course rarely possible.

Saying that one could lose a couple of pounds in a matter of days and offset the effects of a rather unhealthy lifestyle quickly would be a lie.

On the other hand, if you are desperately seeking a way of fitting into your favorite dress and realize for a festive occasion, there is no reason to despair. A simple, yet very effective solution is at hand to help you out on a very short notice.

Drop that Dress Size without Dieting

The goal is to drop dress size quickly and even though 20 minutes sounds like an exaggeration, this is more or less what it takes to prepare and apply the wonder concoction.

To be perfectly honest with you, this isn’t one of those ‘magical’ health wraps that will supposedly slim you down for good, though the effects could last for a couple of days, dropping half a size or two is worth spending if the results are positive.

This simple wrap recipe is one of my favorite and being used mostly in Salons, Day Spas, as well as the beauty and wellness industry. A number of ingredients can be modified base on your body size.

So, if you have plans to slip into that body hugging dress to impress your hot date, grab this simple, fast fix to get rid of those bloated bodies.

You’ll Need:

  • 3 oz turmeric (Some turmeric has the ability to stain your skin. To be safe, perform a test patch on a less noticeable area, if the turmeric stained your skin, you can JUST wipe it off with a warm cloth after rubbing castor oil or olive oil. )
  • 1 oz ginger
  • scoop of rice (powdered/ground)
  • Warm water

Directions:
① Grind/Muddle together the ginger and turmeric. Fresh is the best!
② Powderize the rice using a blender.
③ Mix all together in a bowl with warm water to create a thick consistency.
④ Apply the mixture into your body by massaging in circular motions. Focus on the areas that are more fatty such as stomach, hips, thighs.
⑤ Leave on for 20-30 minutes, then wash off in warm water and apply a moisturizer and you’re ready to go.

*To increase the effectiveness of this mixture, use a plastic sheet (or saran wrap) and wrap it on the problem areas.

Why it Works?
It’s simple! Turmeric acts as anti-oxidant and rids the body of toxins while the ginger stimulates circulation and reduces water retention. The rice serves as the exfoliation and removes dead skin cells on the surface.

Tip:
To enhance the impression of better quality, lot of spices contain artificial dyes and these colorants caused the stain.

So, make sure to stick to genuine turmeric to avoid the nasty yellow stains, as the synthetic counterparts are known to produce these undesirable side-effects.

As a precaution considering everyone’s skin behaves differently, do a patch test on a less prominent area, however, if the turmeric stained your skin, you can wipe it off with a warm cloth after rubbing castor oil or olive oil.

Natural ingredients are always better than allegedly unknown chemicals, so even when you are in dire need, nothing short of a miracle, stick to what nature provides.

I think we make just enough compromises on a daily basis, to also jeopardize our health for things that, let’s admit are a bit shallow. Anyway, the brilliant combination of ginger, turmeric, rice and water has nothing dangerous about it, but it delivers the kind of results that we seek.
