How to Clean Your Makeup Brushes

I assumed that you are not a big fan of cleaning makeup brushes and more sympathetic, I cannot be, as I have to admit that I postpone the procedure as much as possible.

The problem is that if you don’t do it at least once each month, you will eventually have to replace your makeup much sooner.

This means that a lot of money needs to be spent on new products, even though the old ones could be used a bit longer.

Depending on how much money you spend on makeup, these unnecessary expenses will mount, and in the end, you will wonder where did all your money go.

In addition to the financial downside, not cleaning your makeup brushes regularly exposes you to potentially harmful bacteria which are known to cause a plethora of side effects.

Only when you suffer from skin irritations, acne and eye infections you realize how annoying these conditions are and regret the fact that you were too lazy to clean up the brushes.

Now that I have convinced you about the importance of undertaking this procedure once a month, I will go a step further and suggest a very effective way doing it. You don’t have to worry about the costs because this do-it-yourself remedy doesn’t imply the acquisition of expensive products.

All you need is organic baby shampoo, which you either have in your house or can purchase from the local shop for an amount that is so low that it can’t possibly set you back.

      @Aya,
      Yes, you can use that baby shampoo. Any baby shampoo is fine because they are more gentle.
