Who would have thought that this kind of common ingredient can motivate such type of allegiance?

Epsom salts contain remarkable health benefits, which includes a soothing bath, a hair volumizer, and a face scrub.

Additionally, it is a cure-all wonder that helps to minimize the swelling of sprains and bruises as well as eliminating splinters.

I was familiar with the power of bath soak filled with few cups of Epsom salts to soothe ache muscles and draw toxic substance within our system, however, under any circumstances understand the reason why.

And yes, it wasn’t up to the point that I expended my precious time to do the research and discovered that these miracle ingredients are made of the mineral magnesium sulfate – which also is a tranquilizer or a sedative for the nerve system.

Once magnesium sulfate is assimilated through the skin, for instance during a bath, it pulls toxic elements from the body, sedates the nerve system, minimizes swelling and de-stresses muscle tissues.

So, when you want to spend a long hot soak in the bath, you’ll be able to release the tension of your muscle tissues in the same manner experts do, without a visit to the sports or physiotherapist plus the fact that you don’t need to spend a small fortune by doing it.

Soaking stiff and sore muscles relax them and relieve strain, notably right after intense workout routine.

A bath soak isn’t an alternative to seeing a health care professional, which means that if you happen to encounter some bruising or swelling, visit your doctor at the earliest opportunity.

What is a Bath Soak?

Sports athletes and individuals with injuries start using bath soaks for dealing with stiff and sore and strained muscles.

Simply throw all the ingredients of the bath soak into a tepid or chilled water, based upon whether the muscles seem to be swollen or otherwise.

Ingredients for Homemade Sore Muscle Bath Soak

1 Cup Epsom Salts
1/4 Cup Sea Salts
1/4 Cup Baking Soda
3 drops of eucalyptus essential oil – is an anti-inflammatory, it aids for oxygenating, purifying and energizing sore muscles
3 drops of rosemary essential oil – for detoxifying, energizing and uplifting

First, fill the bathtub with hot water while mixing all the ingredients in a small bowl and throw the mixture under the running water as it is filling.

I try soaking myself for 30 minutes the least, coupled with a good book plus a soothing music. After that, I’m just ready to hit the hay because the feeling is so relaxing.

      hi Roseanne,
You can find this book holder at bed, bath & beyond (if you are in US). If you are not in US, you can try checking your local home improvement stores or you can order it online. This is so useful when taking a bath 🙂
