You’ll Need:

  • 6 dried red dates
  • 3 cups filtered water
  • 2 slices fresh ginger
  • 2 pitted red dates for garnish
  • 1 tbsp goji berries (optional*) if you wish to add this ingredient make sure to soak the Goji Berries in hot water first and strain them before adding to the mixture tea.



Directions:

① Rinse and wash the red dates. Make sure to remove the dates’ inner seed before cooking them.

② In a pan, add the 6 red dates & ginger along with water and bring to a boil in medium heat. Simmer for 10 minutes on low. You can gently press on the dates to release more flavor.

③ Strain the mixture into teapot/cups through a very fine strainer. You can add some honey/rock sugar to taste but this is optional.

④ Pit the 2 dates used for garnish, by making a single slit lengthwise through the dates. Leave it until it’s about room temperature, then drink the tea only.

Usage Directions

Drink this tea daily all month except during that special time of the month!
