How to Get Rid of Puffy Eyes, Under Eye Bags and Dark Circles

I must confess – the fun nights out result in less than exciting mornings. The mirror is my biggest enemy because it reveals something quite far from perfection – dark circles and tired-looking skin.

The under-eye bags / dark circles rank among the most stubborn and unpleasant problems to deal with most women. I have tried a wide range of cosmetics, but the results are mediocre at best. The bad circulation that causes eye bags happens to be relatively difficult to fix.

This is why I turned to natural substances. One of the natural ingredients that were proven to help reduce the appearance of cellulite in body scrubs is coffee beans.

We can use these same as temporary skin toning and tighten effects to contribute to reducing under eye bags and dark circles. If you find this remedy works for you, you can do this trick continuously.

Why These Ingredients?

Ground Coffee – Coffee is inflammatory and commonly used for body scrubs made of coffee beans. Coffee beans and body scrubs are being sold as being useful for reducing the cellulite and while it can temporarily tone the skin, it’s not going to get rid of it all together.

So we can use the same effect in reducing the inflammation underneath your eyes and it has some skin toning and tightening effects.

Black pepper – Adding black pepper helps to stimulate circulation that gets blood moving to your skin and its moving oxygen + nutrients. Coffee beans and black pepper are very high in antioxidants that can be helpful for things like UV damage or signs of aging.

You can experiment with different frequencies to see what works best for your skin and leave it on about 5-10 minutes and gently wipe it away with wet cotton or a wet cloth.

But be careful not to rub, you need to be gentle in wiping the mixture away not to damage the skin under your eyes.

You’ll Need:

  • coffee beans (freshly ground is the best)
  • pinch of black pepper (to stimulate circulation)
  • coconut oil

Directions:
① Use water to wet your palm a little bit and put some freshly ground coffee beans, add a pinch of black pepper and mix that with coconut oil (same amount of coffee beans 1:1 ratio) in the palm of your hands.

② Mixing this with coconut oil will help release the coffee and the black pepper oils into the coconut oil so they could be easily absorbed by your skin.

③ Gently dab the mixture into your under eyes, be cautious and try not to apply too close to your eyelids. Leave it for 5-10 minutes or until it gets a little dry and the oils have absorbed into the skin.

④ Then, wipe it off with a wet paper towel or wet cloth. But be careful not to rub, you need to be gentle in wiping the mixture away not to damage the skin under your eyes.

⑤ You can do this routine few times a week to temporarily tone and tighten your skin while reducing the inflammation. Follow up with your favorite moisturizer.
