It’s time for a beauty moment in history. This one stars the lovely first lady, Martha Washington. So, the story goes a little something like this: The lovely Martha was known throughout the land for her fair, porcelain complexion. Even George took notice of her skin when he first met her.

It was her trademark, and everyone wondered what her secret beauty regimen was. Eventually she revealed it was simply a basic mixture of ingredients that can usually be found in most any kitchen:

What you Need:

  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp of raw honey
  • 1 tsp Apple Cider Vinegar

1Take your egg, and separate the egg white from the yolk. In the bowl containing the egg white, beat the white until it is frothy. In the bowl containing the yolk, break it and take 2 tbsp of yolk in a separate bowl and pour in the honey and apple cider vinegar. Mix well.

2 Now grab 2 tbsp of egg white and add it to the yolk mixture and mix gently. On a clean face, apply the mixture in a thin even layer. Be sure to avoid the eye area. After about 10-15 minutes, or until you can’t smile.

3Then with a warm wash cloth rinse it off your face and you will find your face super smooth! Do this treatment as often as you want, daily, weekly etc.

This batch makes enough for several applications, so invite friends over for free facials. Refrigerate any leftover and discard after few days.

Apple Cider Vinegar :
ACV contains natural enzymes, vitamins and minerals and is rich in antioxidants. It has Vitamin A, B and C, beta carotene, bioflavonoids, calcium, magnesium, potassium, phosphorus, copper, iron, sulfur, iron, fluorine, silicon, boron and pectin. How’s that for a super vinegar! It naturally balances the pH balance of the skin, fight bacteria, infections and is a natural anti-fungal, and it reduces inflammation.

It is an awesome astringent (toner), for sensitive and oils skin. Vinegar can even do wonders for acne and itchy skin conditions due to eczema and sunburn and can help blast fungal infections, warts and even skin tags!

HONEY, I love you, let me count thy ways:
The natural occurring acids in honey acids are very safe to use on skin and can loosen bonds between the dead skin cells junking up your skin, making it easier to shed the dead layer and reveal your smoother more glorious skin underneath! These acids also increase elasticity, balance out oily skin, stimulate collagen production, and minimize lines and wrinkles making you look younger and more “new and improved”! And honey is safe for the most sensitive skin…honey has even more awesome qualities, used since ancient times!

Why EGGS are “egg-ceptional”:
An egg mask is one of the best natural remedies for irritated skin. Eggs contains amino acids that help in reduction of any inflammation. Eggs not only smooth and tighten the skin, but help shrink pores. Even put it on your neck to tighten any skin that isn’t a tight as you’d like!
