Remedy #1 – Cranberry Juice

Cranberries offer important organic acids, such as quinic acid, citric acid, and malic acid, and these acids work like digestive enzymes.

They work like emulsifying agents on all the fat deposits found in the lymphatic system, which the body uses to eliminate waste products the liver isn’t able to process.

When you drink cranberry juice, it helps to digest lymphatic waste, reducing your belly fat. Make your own cran-water or drink 100% cranberry juice that is unsweetened.

You’ll Need:

  • Unsweetened cranberry juice- 8 oz. Or 1 cup
  • Water- 56 oz. Or 7 cup

What to Do:

  • In the morning, mix cranberry juice with water to get your day’s supply of cran-water.
  • Have one cup of this cran-water at a time through out the day.
  • You may have a cup each before breakfast and lunch, after dinner, and at other times of the day.
  • You may also make this cran-water just before you have it. Just mix 2 tablespoons of cranberry juice to 7 oz. (a little less than a cup) of plain water.


Remedy #2 – Lemon Water

It’s important to detoxify the liver, since your liver isn’t able to effectively metabolize fat if it’s stressed, which leaves fat to be deposited around your middle.

When you drink lemon water, it helps increase enzymes that work to detoxify the liver, helping your liver to function more efficiently.

You’ll Need:

  • Lemon- 1/4 or 1/2 wedge of lemon juice
  • Water (warm preferred)- 8 – 10 oz glass

What to Do:

  • After you get up in the morning, take the lemon and squeeze out its juice into the water.
  • While warm water is good to make lemon water for fat burning purpose, you can also use water at room temperature. This won’t stop lemon doing its job.
  • Mix well and drink this lemon water on an empty stomach everyday in the morning.
  • Do not eat or drink anything for at least 30 minutes after you have your regular lemon water every morning.


Remedy #3 – Chia Seeds

Individuals who follow a vegan diet free from fish will want to eat chia seeds to ensure they their body’s need for omega 3 fatty acids is met.

Chia seeds provide the best plant-based source of these important acids. The body does have to work to turn the alpha-linolenic acid found in the seeds into the EPA or DHA that is found in fish oil.

Not only do chia seeds offer you important omega 3 fatty acids, but they also provide a great source of calcium, iron, and antioxidants, as well as fiber, which helps keep you feeling full. To prevent overeating and eliminate those hunger pangs, eat 4-8 tablespoons of chia seeds each day.

  • Add chia seeds to your smoothies, salads and yogurt.
  • Add them to your breakfast cereal.
  • Use chia seeds as a thickening agent for soups and gravies.

If you’re not a vegan, you can get the omega 3 fatty acids your body needs from fish or fish oil. Omega 3 fatty acids, including linolenic acid, icosapentaenoic acid, or docosahexaenoic acid, can help your body break down fats and reduce the amount of fat stored around your middle. If you don’t want to take fish oil, make sure you eat fatt fish regularly to get those important omega 3 fatty acids.

What to Do:

  • Have 6 g of fish oil daily. 6 g roughly equals a generously filled tablespoon which is on the verge of overflowing.
  • Alternatively, you may have such fish as salmon or mackerel two times a week. Tuna and halibut are also high on omega-3.

You probably already know how good garlic is for the cardiovascular system, since it helps to reduce your blood pressure, lowers triglyceride levels, and increases levels of good cholesterol. However, you may not be aware that garlic also helps reduce fat.

Cells in the body die every minute, and the body continues to replace them with new cells. Adipocytes, or fat cells, are the cells that make up body fat. In adipose tissue, a process occurs wherein pre-adipocytes become converted into fat, and this process is called adipogenesis.

Researchers have found that garlic helps inhibit this fat-making process. The garlic keeps pre-fat cells from being turned into fat cells.

You’ll Need:

  • Garlic cloves- 3
  • 1/4 or 1/2 wedge of lemon juice
  • Water- 1 cup ( 8 oz or 10 oz)

What to Do:

  • Squeeze the lemon juice into the cup of water.
  • Chop the garlic and let it stand for about 10 minutes ( crushed garlic needs time to interact with oxygen to form the beneficial substances) before consuming them. Then drink the lemon water
  • Repeat every morning after meal.
  • You will start losing belly fat within 2 week’s time.

Tip of Eating the raw garlic:
Keep in mind, if you want to lose belly fat, you’ll want to eat raw garlic. But some people have zero tolerance in chewing raw garlic because of its pungent smell. what to do is to chop them finely and add them to a spoonful of yogurt or you can add some raw honey on them and swallow.

If you want to take a garlic shot, I would just recommend that you add a bit of olive oil to the raw minced garlic to protect your stomach.

Downside of Garlic:
Of course, while garlic can be used safely in your diet, there are a few side effects to consider. Some individuals experience bad breath from taking garlic orally.

In some individuals, regularly consuming garlic may result in body odor, diarrhea, nausea, gas, vomiting, and heartburn. If you are going to have surgery, make sure you stop taking garlic a couple weeks before having surgery.

Garlic can thin the blood and make bleeding worse. If you have stomach problems or a bleeding disorder, you need to avoid garlic. Pregnant and lactating women, as well as children, shouldn’t consume large amounts of garlic.

Cortisol production is also suppressed by ginger. Cortisol, a steroid hormone, is essential for mobilization and energy regulation, and too much cortisol in your body may lead the body to store belly fat. Drinking ginger tea each day will reduce cortisol levels, helping you lose more belly fat.

If you want to improve digestion, reduce cortisol production, and boost your metabolism, try to drink two cups of the ginger tea each day.

  • Water- 4 cups
  • Ginger (peeled and sliced)- 1-2 inch piece
  • Lemon- 1/2 wedge of lemon juice
  • Honey- 1 tsp

What to Do:

  • Boil the water.
  • Add ginger to the hot water and simmer for 5-10 minutes.
  • Remove from the stove and add lemon juice and honey to this.
  • Mix well and have a cup of this ginger tea in the morning.
  • To regulate your metabolism, stimulate your digestion and reduce your cortisol production, have at least 2 cups of ginger tea throughout the day.


Remedy #7 – Herb Infused Water

Water infused with herbs, especially when you add lemon juice to the water, can help you lose belly fat. Cucumbers include plenty of dietary fiber and water, which makes them a great option to add to water. They help cleanse the body, reducing belly fat.

Ginger can also be infused into your water, and ginger helps to improve circulation, it improves metabolism, and burns fat. Lemon, when used in water, can give you an energy boost and help your body burn more fat.

Adding mint to the water can sooth your stomach and eliminate cravings. The water helps fill you up, hydrates your body, and helps eliminate toxins from the body.

You’ll Need:

  • Water- 2 liters
  • Cucumber (sliced)- 1 medium
  • Ginger (grated or pressed)- 1 tsp if grated; 1-2 inch piece if pressed
  • Lemon (sliced)- 1
  • Mint leaves- 10-12 sprigs

What to Do:

  • Soak all the ingredients in water overnight.
  • Once they are infused for the whole night, drink this water throughout the day.
