I love trying different juice recipes in an attempt to stimulate collagen production. The following vitamin C potion is one of my favorites because of the amazing skincare benefits that it delivers.
The Magical Ingredients and Their Benefits
① Red Cabbage
The red cabbage, the lime and the orange are all excellent sources of vitamin C. Vitamin C is a powerful natural antioxidant that protects the skin cells against the damaging effects of free radicals. In addition, it stimulates collagen production.
② Beetroot
Beetroot is another amazingly beneficial ingredient to include in the juice. It happens to be an incredible source of zinc and copper. Also, beetroot is one of the most powerful detox veggies. It assists the functioning of the liver, which quickly results in a clearer complexion. Skin and liver health are closely connected.
③ Ginger
Ginger is a powerful anti-inflammatory agent. Ladies that are experiencing redness, acne or puffiness will all benefit from the addition of fresh ginger to the juice.
④ Cucumber
Cucumber is added to the recipe because of its hydrating qualities. Water constitutes nearly 96 percent of this fresh veggie. Healthy, plump and radiant skin requires proper hydration.

When it comes to beautiful skin, juicing is one of the simplest options that will produce visible results. The combination of ingredients will depend on your particular skincare preferences but a number of fruits and veggies produce universal benefits.
You’ll Need:
- 1/2 small red cabbage
- 1 medium beetroot
- 1 carrot
- 1 medium cucumber
- 1 large orange
- 1/2 lime or lemon
- 2 inches of ginger
Directions:
1. Wash and prep the ingredients. Use organic if possible.
2. Run all the ingredients, except citrus, though the juicer. Squeeze orange and lime using a citrus juicer or with your hands.
3. Combine the juice contents and the squeezed citrus juice in a glass.
