Long and thick eyelashes – who wouldn’t love to have those? Just like hair, however, eyelashes can become dry and brittle. Proper conditioning will be the key to maintaining their beauty.
Did you know that the use of topical treatments can make lashes stronger and help them grow faster? The market has a range of serums and eyelash growth solutions.
Some of these, however, contain artificial substances and additives. The good news is that you can easily replace those with natural, homemade and inexpensive eyelash conditioners.
I have tried several recipes, and this article will present the ones that gave me the best results. It is important to know that the use of natural substances will deliver results after some time.
Keep on using the eyelash conditioner, and you will notice significant changes within a month or two of getting started.
Take a break from mascara and curling your lashes once in a while to give them a break from all the lash stress. Give these natural eyelash conditioners recipes a try to achieve longer, thicker, and fuller lashes!
① Castor Oil Eyelash Conditioner
Castor oil can also help your lashes grow stronger and healthier. To make this conditioner, you will need:
- 3 parts Castor or almond oil
- 1 part Vanilla extract
- Disposable mascara wands
- Small container
Mix the ingredient together. Use a mascara wand to apply to both the top and the bottom lashes two times per day. If you have some old mascara, you can wash the wand thoroughly and get it disinfected. It will be perfect for the application of the conditioner.
② Vitamin E Eyelash Conditioner
Vitamin E plays a vital role in maintaining your beauty. It keeps hair and skin healthy. Vitamin E can also be used to strengthen your eyelashes. To make a lash conditioner, you will need vitamin E oil or vitamin E capsules.
- Vitamin E oil or capsules
- Small container or plate
- Cotton Swabs
The liquid should be applied directly to your eyelashes. Vitamin E does not have to be mixed with any other ingredient to deliver optimal results.
Use a cotton bud (q-tip) to apply the conditioner to both the top and bottom lashes twice a day (typically in the morning before makeup application and before you go to bed).
Make sure that your lashes are clean and mascara-free before applying the conditioner.
③ Coconut Oil Eyelash Conditioner
Coconut oil is a source of wonderful nutrients and lipids that are equally beneficial for your hair and your eyelashes. Making a coconut conditioner at home is a fairly simple task. You will need equal parts of the following:
- 3 parts Coconut Oil
- 1 part Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1 tsp Vitamin E oil or 2 capsules in gel form
- Small container
- Disposable mascara wand or cotton swabs
Use a clean container for the storage of your conditioner. Pour the three ingredients inside.
You can use a clean mascara wand to apply the conditioner two times per day.
