I used to bleach/ombre my hair and noticed that my hair felt a little blah these days. I was about to make an appointment with my favorite hairstylist to get my hair done (you know, the whole shebang on pampering your hair) but felt indecisive upon realizing how much they will cost on my wallet.

Hence, I made a decision to try this DIY hot oil treatment. So far, I did this hot oil treatment to my hair twice already and the result is amazing. My hair feels so smooth, silky with so much luster once again.

So, if you are struggling with dead ends, there’s hope on that..don’t chop them off.. yet.

You’ll Need:
Olive oil

I believe, the hot oil treatment is one of the most opulent and fulfilling things you can do to your hair hands down. Normally, I do this routine on weekly basis until I picked up the routine down to an art. The best part? It’s inexpensive, super simple and the ingredient is likely can be found in your kitchen. So grab your olive oil and add extra strength and shine back into your hairstyle.

    Hi there
    I have noticed that a lot of people who have oily scalp and hair don’t tend to put oil in their hair. My sister had oily hair as well and her beautician told her to massage her hair with oil at least twice a week because if you don’t put oil your scalp thinks that its too dry and it produces more oil so your hair ends up being oilier than before. My sister did as told and her hair is to die for. Just sharing a tip that I follow. Thank You.

    Do i need to put a water in my hair before applying olive oil or remain dry?

      @Julie,
      You can spray some water to your hair to make it damp/moist a bit and apply the olive oil, or you can simply apply the olive oil directly into your dry hair.
