Sometimes all it takes is a little imagination and the will to walk down the less traveled paths, to discover amazing things. Many beauty tips can be included in this category and this one aimed at enhancing the lip color is definitely one worth following. You don’t need expensive ingredients and depending on what shades you prefer and how you feel about metallic finishes, there are plenty of products that can be used.
It all happens around the stove top, so make sure you take all the precautions necessary before getting to work to prevent any incidents. Pretty much any lipstick will do and you will only need to add a metallic shade, or if you are not a fan of these products settle for a light shimmer nude. Among the other tools that are required for this tip to work flawlessly, we should mention a spoon, a kitchen knife, a tiny plastic jar a lip brush and of course a flame. This is after all what the stove top is needed for.
What you’ll Need:
1.) Two or Three different shades of lipstick – (you can add lip balm or coconut oil to make the lipstick smoother)
2.) Spoon
3.) Spatula or a kitchen knife
4.) Small container or old contact lens container
Procedures:
Slice tiny amounts of lip colors using a kitchen knife or spatula and place them on the spoon, with the latter being then placed above the medium or low-flamed stove. Three or 4 inches will do and at this distance the product will begin to melt in a couple of seconds. When this happens, the concoction should be whirled for the colors to mix and when you’re done the result must be placed inside the small jar where it will harden for a couple of minutes. This is all it takes to achieve a truly original shade that can be applied right away.
