Most of us love to use body wash or a favorite scented bar soap that doesn’t come in a body wash form. But one thing that we can all concord on this, bar soaps are a lot more affordable compare to the body wash.

So, let me show the way to effortlessly turn your favorite bar soap into a creamy, luxurious body wash. the best part of this concoction is that you can be creative by adding some essential oils to make it more pleasant-smelling body wash.

You’ll Need:

  • Dove beauty bar (3.17oz) or Olay , Ivory soap
  • Cheese grater (or knife for softer soap)
  • water
  • few drops of Vitamin E oil or olive oil (* this is optional if your skin is dry and want more moisturizer)
  • clean tub container or foaming dispenser for body wash

1Using a cheese grater, finely grate your favorite bar of soap or you can use a knife and slice the soap off if it is in softer form.

2Add 2 cups water to the grated soap and stir over medium heat until the soap completely dissolves and the water looks “milky.”

3 Let the mixture sit to cool down for around two hours. At this point, it will start resembling a body-wash type gel, now you can add the vitamin E oil or olive oil (this is optional). However, some water may reduced while heating that may resulted the mixture to become too thick, you can simply add a bit of water to reach that consistency that you like and re-heat the mixture if needed and let it cool down once again. Transfer body wash into a squeeze container and use.

      @Shinu,
      There are lot of factors that caused breakouts. Our eating habits and lifestyles are one of the examples so go easy with the fatty foods and try some detox to clean up your body first.
