Unfortunately, acne occurs at the worst times. Even when you take care of your skin and follow all the important skin care tips, you still end up with a zit at the worst possible time.

You’re ready for a big date or headed to an important event, and of course, an enormous red zit shows up. No matter what you do, that zit just won’t disappear.

Without using drastic measures, is it possible to deal with an acne flare up without having to resort to an expensive, emergency visit to your dermatologist?

Actually, you can make this natural, DIY, acne spot treatment. With a few natural ingredients, you can make that zit vanish in no time. Garlic offers anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties.

Tea tree oil reduces inflammation and redness and has antibacterial and antiseptic properties. Jojoba oil helps to reduce excess oil production.

It’s best to make only a small batch of this “zits-be-gone” natural treatment since it works the best when it is freshly made.

You’ll Need:

  • 1/2 clove fresh garlic crushed and finely mashed
  • ½ teaspoon jojoba oil
  • 1-2 drops of tea tree oil (optional)

Directions:
① Take the half of a garlic clove and then mash or chop it up finely. You can use a mortar and pestle or the back of a spoon.

② Then, add the jojoba oil to your mashed garlic. Never use another oil instead of the jojoba oil, since many other oils may clog the pores of your skin.

③ If you’re using the tea tree oil, add the drops to the mixture and mix until everything is well combined.

④ After making your DIY acne spot treatment, use a Q-tip or a clean finger to apply it to areas affected by acne.

⑤ Leaving tiny pieces of garlic on the zits is okay. Allow the spot treatment to stay on your skin overnight.

⑥ In the morning, gently wash the treatment away. You’ll be surprised at how well it works.

While you can store leftovers in the fridge for a day or two, it still bests to use it fresh for the best results. Fresh is best for potency.

      @Aj,
      You can TRY olive oil but jojoba oil is more recommended because it mimics the oils of our skin thus, it wont clog pores unlike other oils. Let me know how it works for you.
