This mask includes ingredients that treat your face, like lemon juice, which exfoliates dead skin cells and green tea, which is packed with antioxidants that can fight off the signs of aging. Egg whites soothe the skin because of the protein and tighten your skin.

Here is what you will need to make your own DIY peeling mask:

  • 1 packet of unflavored gelatin
  • 1/4 cup of green tea, brewed
  • ½ lemon, juiced
  • 1 egg white

Directions:
Start by juicing the half of the lemon, which includes vitamin C. It helps to exfoliate the skin and helps to get rid of dead skin cells, brightening up your complexion.

Next, you need to add the gelatin to the green tea. The green tea is great for skin, since it has plenty of antioxidants in it. The gelatin is important, since it helps make the mask easily peel off your face when you are done with it.

Combine the lemon juice with the gelatin mixture. Then, you need to place the mixture in a microwave safe bowl, placing it in the microwave for about 20 seconds.

You want to make sure that the gelatin dissolves and the heat help to ensure it does dissolve. Remove from the microwave and mix it up very well. Allow it to thoroughly cool.

Add the egg whites. They help to soothe skin, tighten skin and eliminate whiteheads. Just make sure that you do not add the egg whites before warming.

Place in the refrigerator for a few minutes, so it cools, but do not allow it to firm too much. Make sure it is thick.

Apply a very thick layer to the face, making it easier to pull off off the face. Allow to set for three minutes and add another thick layer of the gelatin mask.

Let it sit on the face for about 30 minutes or until it is completely dry. You will be able to see that it is ready to be peeled off.

Peel off the mask carefully. If you have problems removing the mask, then you can use a bit of warm water to remove it. Just make sure that you never leave the mask on overnight, since it can over dry your skin if you leave it on too long.
