Want to have healthy and fresh skin? Don’t worry – the solution is straightforward and inexpensive. You’ve probably tried dozens of masks and costly cosmetics. There’s no need to spend your money on such products because everything that you need is found in the fridge.

Numerous veggies are wonderful sources of essential vitamins and microelements that your skin needs. If you’re looking for immediate rejuvenation, you should give spinach a try.

Spinach is an incredibly beneficial green leafy vegetable. It is a source of vitamin C, vitamin E, beta-carotene, lutein and several other essential micronutrients that revitalize the skin. Also, spinach contains retinol. Retinol plays a role in preventing skin aging by boosting elasticity.

Why these Ingredients
A simple spinach face mask will be great for improving your complexion, slowing down the hands of time and overcoming common problems like acne and dry skin. You can give yourself a pampering spinach mask now and then and you should also get in the habit of consuming the veggie frequently. Spinach salads are delicious, plus they’ll give your body a medley of important vitamins and minerals.

Spinach is powerful antioxidant. Its ingredients counter the effects of free radicals and slow down the cellular aging process. Besides, these antioxidants protect the skin against adverse influences like sunlight, cold weather, and wind. All of these environmental factors contribute to faster skin aging and problems like excessive dryness.

Honey is another powerful antioxidant and an anti-inflammatory substance. These characteristics turn it in the perfect remedy against acne.

Lemon juice is a wonderful source of vitamin C. In addition, it regulates sebum production without causing dryness. The combination of the three ingredients will leave your skin feeling fresh, clean and youthful.

You’ve probably seen numerous skincare products that contain retinol. This is so because retinol makes the top layer of the skin thicker and stronger. Retinol is great for smoothing out wrinkles and preventing the appearance of new lines on your face.

What you’ll need:

  • ½ Cup of Chopped Spinach Leaves
  • 1 Tbsp Pure Honey
  • 1 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil (or almond oil)
  • 1 Tsp Lemon Juice

Directions:

① Wash spinach leaves carefully in cold water. Let them dry before blending by wiping the leaves using a paper towel.

② Blend until the consistency is mostly smooth. Mix olive oil, lemon juice, and honey together.
③ Add the mixture into with the spinach, and blend again for another 30 sec.
④ Apply to your skin using a brush and let it sit for 15-20 minutes and rinse it off with warm water and splash cold water for the final rinse to close the pores.
⑤ The leftover mask can be stored in the fridge for three days but discard when it smells rancid.

Note: Use this 2 or 3x a week for best results.
