Acne Pillowcase
How often do you change your pillowcase, once a week, once a month? Little did we know or realize by not changing the pillowcases frequently is like rubbing dirty rag all over our face for 6 to 8 hours.
Pillowcase can easily be loaded with bacteria and oil from hair and anything released from our body through nose, ears, mouth or eyes while we are sleeping. These bacteria could rapidly multiply and could survive and live on pillow cases for long time.
Probably you don’t realize that these dusts and bacteria could contribute to acne on your face or may cause your acne look worse than it did the day before. So you may end up wondering though you clean up your face thoroughly only to wake up day after day with pimples where one side is worse than the other. Sounds familiar, isn’t it?
So how often do you need to change our bed sheets and pillow cases? This may sound like a drag but you need to keep in mind that keeping a clean sleeping environment can help prevent acne or at least keep it from getting worse.
Acne Treatment
Simply changing your pillow case in regular basis will help your skin away from a night exposure of bacterial attacks. Washing your pillow case at least every other day is the best way to prevent acne or breakouts from getting worse as your face lays on your pillow case daily.
Plenty of people spend a great amount of money for acne treatment products or at the least get an acne relief. But starting it at home could save you money on acne products though the bottom line is pillow case can never be too clean, a saying that goes “prevention is the cure” is applicable here.
But good thing there are acne pillow cases available in stores or online such the like of hypo-allergenic pillows covered in clean case but one plain common sense to fight against acne is simply washing your pillow case frequently. It make sense isn’t it?
