Coconut Oil – Skincare Tips for the Body

2-1

1 – Essential Oil & Coconut Oil Body Scrub
This recipe takes a few minutes of work in the kitchen, but if you want to bare your legs or your back, you’ll definitely want to use this body scrub to make sure skin is super soft and beautiful.

Take 10 drops each of lemon and orange essential oil, 60 grams of brown sugar, 50 grams of coconut oil and 10 milliliters of macadamia oil. Place the macadamia oil and coconut oil in a bowl, stirring until you have a fluffy consistency. Add the lemon and orange essential oils and mix.

Slowly stir in the brown sugar, mixing until you have a nice scrub. Place in a container with a lid and refrigerate. Use by massaging into the wet skin while in the shower.

Pay attention to dry, rough areas. Rinse the scrub away, and you’ll still have a little coconut oil on the skin, which will keep skin supple and soft.

2 – Body Wash
Make your moisturizing body wash by mixing 20-30 drops of lavender essential oil, a cup of rose water, two cups of liquid castile soap and four tablespoons of coconut oil.

Pour into a large bottle, shaking to ensure everything is well mixed. Use as a regular body wash, but make sure you shake it up before each use.

3 – Lemon, Sugar and Honey Coconut Oil Scrub
Another great scrub makes use of coconut oil but adds the benefits of lemon and honey.
