It’s easy to find a cleanser that will work for you, no matter what skin concerns you have. Consider trying one of these DIY face cleanser recipes to treat your skin.
① DIY Anti-Aging Face Cleanser
Are you looking for a face cleanser that offers anti-aging results? Try a lemon juice and yogurt face cleanser. The lactic acid found in yogurt helps to slough away dead skin cells, revealing younger skin. The lemon contains vitamin C, which helps brighten your skin.
- 1 tbsp organic plain yogurt
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
Simply combine some organic plain yogurt with some lemon juice. Apply to the face and allow to sit on skin for a couple of minutes. Rinse away using warm water.
② DIY Face Cleanser for Oily Skin
If you have oily skin, try your own DIY face cleanser using honey. Honey helps to eliminate bacteria and reduce oil production, yet it won’t strip away the moisture from your skin.
- raw honey
You can simply use about a teaspoon of raw, organic honey as a cleanser. Apply to your face, massaging into skin and allowing it to stay on the skin for a few minutes. Rinse away using warm water and splash some cold water to close the pores.
③ DIY Face Cleanser for Dry Skin
Do you have dry skin? If so, an olive oil face cleanser is the perfect choice for your skin. All you need is a couple drops of lavender essential oil and some extra virgin olive oil.
Olive oil contains essential nutrients that offer hydration to your dry skin. The lavender essential oil boosts the moisturizing levels as well.
- extra virgin olive oil
- few drops lavender essential oil (optional)
- wash cloth
Combine the lavender oil and olive oil and then massage into skin. Using warm water, thoroughly soak a washcloth. Use the soaked washcloth to remove the oil cleanser from skin. If you want to remove makeup, you may repeat the steps several times.
