There is nothing easier than drinking the recommended dose of water every day, still many of us don’t pay enough attention to this healthy and convenient habit. The issue of health alone should be enough to convince you to consume plenty of water, but if you still need an incentive then let me provide you with two great ones. Sufficient water will improve your looks and hydrate the skin which makes it one of the least expensive beauty treatments you ever find and may even help you lose the extra pounds.

The first step is the most important one, and I discovered that sometimes even if I’m well aware of the benefits of a certain action, I struggle with finding the motivation. It works better if you turn everything into a game, especially if it is an immersive one with rules that are easy to pick up. Start by saving money and instead of purchasing sodas, fill a jar with water and add some tea bags or slices of strawberries, limes or apples. Put it in the freezer or warm it up and keep it right beside you, whenever you are doing something that requires concentration.

Everything works better when you take a sip every now and then, so don’t let fizzy drinks replace water just because you like the taste better. Another way to trick yourself into drinking water is by keeping a bottle that contains the recommended dose in a visible place. At the end of the day, it will serve as a silent reminder if you fail to drink the necessary amount, and will provide you with the impetus to succeed.

9 Refrain from buying any soda drinks for your home. Let’s be honest, are you going to drink water if your favorite soda is inside the fridge?

10 Still can’t get over the blandness? Put a fruit-flavored tea bag in your water jar and steep for intense flavor and let it cool in the refrigerator.
