      @Rashmi Arora,
      Chia seeds come from a flowering plant in the mint family that’s native to Mexico and Guatemala, and history suggests it was a very important food crop for the Aztecs. They are a concentrated food containing healthy omega-3 fatty acids, carbohydrates, protein, fiber, antioxidants, and calcium. In theory, chia seeds are supposed to expand in your belly, helping you to feel full, eat less, and ultimately shed pounds.

      @Kareema,
      You can sprinkle chia seeds on your salads, smoothies or yogurt. I normally add 2 tbsp of chia seeds on coconut milk and let it swell on the fridge for 2 hours, the result is like a pudding..

      @Mrs Amreen Mohsin,
      Chia seeds can be part of a healthy eating plan that helps you drop pounds. With 11 grams of fiber per ounce, chia seeds provide more than 40 percent of your daily fiber needs — and fiber can contribute to weight loss by moderately dulling your appetite and discouraging bloating. Have an ounce at breakfast to boost your daily fiber intake — whiz them into a smoothie made with fresh fruit and low-fat milk or sprinkle a tablespoon over hot cereal.
