1 Almond and Milk
Rich in vitamin E, almonds nourish the skin. Soak them in milk overnight, then remove the peel and grind them. Almonds can dry out your skin, hence, adding milk cream or honey to the almond paste is advisable. Apply this paste on targeted areas to get rid of sunburns, tan and blemishes. It is also a great remedy to lighten dark lips.
- Soak 8-10 almonds in water overnight
- Peel and crush them
- Add a little milk to make a paste
- Apply on blemishes
- Leave it overnight
- Wash with cold water in the morning

Lemon is a natural skin lightener being a powerful bleaching agent. This can also be used to lighten skin blemishes. Cut a lemon into halves, add few drops of honey to moisturize your skin and scrub on your face daily. Try this remedy to get fair skin.
Grate the potato and place it in a washcloth so it would be easier to squeeze the juice. Grab a cotton ball or a pad and dip into the potato juice. Rub/apply this on your skin blemishes and in those parts you want to clarify and bleach. Do this routine 2 – 3 times a day for best results.
An example of alkaline scrub is baking soda. This works like an exfoliating agent that removes dead surface skin cells that also triggers cell renewal. Baking soda is a safe exfoliant that works without drying or irritating the skin. Make paste by mixing 1 spoon of baking soda with some water.
