Have you heard about the Teacup pigs, this is now the new pet trend that raking all over Great Britain. Teacup pigs don’t grow big and they are just about the size of a small spaniel with oversize ears and pink snouts that could easily melt the heart of any animal lovers. The teacup piglets as the name suggest, weigh about 9 oz at birth similar to the size of a teacup and grow about 12 to 16 inches with a modest weight of 65 lbs once they are fully grown.
These teacup piglets have their own price tags that range up to $1,100 each and being sold in pairs to those who are qualified to keep them. But owners need to have license to keep a livestock as teacup piglets for sale are considered to be farm animals.
The teacup pigs can be litter-train like a cat and you can take them for a walk on the park and being regarded as great alternative to those who are allergic to dogs or cats because of hairs.
Teacup pigs are yet to be sold in US and I guess it will takes for a while before this craze will be picked up by breeders here. I’m curious who will be the first celebrity to own these kinds of Teacup pigs as pets.
