Gourmet Magazine dies after 70 years

There were rumors already before the announcement therefore it didn’t give me a shock after learning the Gourmet’s demise after all, the magazine is considered as an institution. However, aside from closing down Gourmet magazine, Condé Nast said it was also shutting down two wedding magazines such as Elegant Bride and Modern Bride along with the parenting magazine, Cookie.
But according to Conde Nast, the brand Gourmet will stay in used for book publishing and TV programming thus the Gourmet recipes will still be viewed on Epicurios.com
