Ben’s Chili Bowl diner is one of the prominent establishment in Washington’s black business and entertainment which being frequented by famous celebrities and top caliber politician including US president Obama.
But it was saddened by the demise of its founder, Ben Ali who died last Wednesday night of natural causes at the age of 82. The famous Bens Chili Bowl diner was established in 1927 and since then, it became a landmark in the black business community serving bowls of chili.
With his rag to riches success story, Ben Ali is considered as a typical example that epitomized the American dream. Surely he will be missed by his family, friends and countless fans who adore Ben Ali because of his energetic and unforgettable personality.
