How to Apply Mascara
I love wearing mascara; I guess I cannot leave the house without it, I can live without makeup but my mascara is one essential makeup and Im sure most women would agree with me.
Applying mascara is very easy as you don’t need to be an expert in order to apply it. Though there are no real secret for the application but I want to partake some beneficial information that will certainly perfect your make up application.
Generally, curling your eyelashes is remarkably one effective technique as it doesn’t involve any fancy tools yet the result is instant and dramatic.
For women who have straight eyelashes, curling it before the mascara application can really create a complete eye-opener. But to those who already have a little curl on their lashes, adding a little highlight can make your eyes pop and more awake.
Everyone wants to have long and curled lashes because it oozes femininity and creates sexier eyes that brighten and enlarge droopy or chinky eyes. I prefer to use black mascara because it really gives more intensity to your eyes though some women are using the brown color.
Three steps on How to Apply Mascara
Step 1 – Curl your Lashes – Hold and open the curler and aim it around your lashes as close to your upper eyelid without twitching the skin. Make sure to keep your eyes open and squeeze the curler lightly, pump the curler once and release.
Step 2 – Once you pull off the wand from the mascara tube, don’t pump it twice as it forces air to get into the tube that causes the mascara to dry out. Wipe the extra lump from the wand and hold it in a right angle aiming at the base of your lashes and wiggle it up and down to create thickness before drawing it up and out to the tips.
Step 3 – Repeat the application to obtain a uniform finished, if you have a natural thick eyelash, one coating is likely enough for you to live with it the whole day. But if you are gifted with thin, lighter lashes, make 2 or 3 coats on the upper and lower lashes to get a dramatic look.
How to remove your mascara?
Don’t use your regular facial cleanser when removing mascara as it could irritate your delicate eye area. The wash off regular mascara, use a water based or creamy makeup remover that could wipe off your mascara. If you are using waterproof mascara, you should use oil based eye make up remover by massaging it into the lashes and then press them with a damp wash cloth or cotton pad. Avoid using tissue or rubbing them which can rough and might leave some residue.
Apply EyeLiner
Eyeliner is considered as one of the most important cosmetics that gives a dramatic look, it makes your eyes pop out by accentuating and defining your eye shapes. So if you wish to add some definition into your eyes, you should apply eyeliner close to the base line of eyelashes to give depth to the lashes and make it appear thicker.
Applying eyeliner may take some little practice especially if you just started to learn using the liquid eyeliner. But after mastering the application, the results can flatter your eye shapes and sizes. I guess, eyeliners are heaven sent, for the reason that they really help your lashes look thicker and more attractive.
How to apply Eyeliner
1.) When using an eye pencil, open your mouth slightly to relax the eye muscles
2.) Start with the outer part of your eye and do short strokes; if your pencil is creamy enough it would just slide effortlessly.
3.) When applying to the lower line – pull your lower line down and rub it all the way to the tear duck. After that, just blink a little bit and let your eyes open to dry it up and you’re good to go.
Eyeliner Tips:
If your lower line is smudging down, just take some powder eye shadow and dab it underneath the lower lash line to prevent the creaminess of the eyeliner from melting down.
If you have small eyes, don’t draw the liner all the way to the tear duck as its going to close your eyes off.
However, you can use an angle brush that has a bent on it because its easier to get your lash line without smudging and get a cream eyeliner as they glide very smoothly over your eye shadow.
Liquid eyeliner is more difficult to use because once it dries, it is set and more difficult to take it off with eye remover so this is not recommended for the beginners.
